Great app! I have used this only to sync my birthdays and anniversaries from my Contacts. I already get notified of someones birthday via facebook. If that person is special enough to me, then I add them to the Occasions app which will then also appear on my calendar.

I like how easy to use this app is. Absolutely a dream come true. I just wish I could change one thing. For it to also have the iCloud Sync feature. If they add it, then it would be even better.

I enjoy having a separate place outside of the calendar to see just birthdays and anniversaries for my contacts. Although, it no longer supports FB sync & messaging from app. (And thats a FB thing): After trying 5 other birthday apps this one is the best! Imports all events from Contacts (birthdays & anniversaries, etc.), lists them in a very legible chronological order, separates them by month and allows you text or phone them from within the app. Different color themes are available and all pictures stay updated. The alert choices in this are the best!!! For some friends, I only need notification same day and for others I want more notice for gift giving. Keep it going! Nothing else compares.

Cant share the birthday using WhatsApp and post on social media. Has Birthday Anniversaries Holidays Custom dates Works perfectly. Hope it allows me to send a message using whatsapp.

I have had this app since version 1.0. It has saved my butt many times, helping me to remember birthdays and anniversaries. I also use it to remind me of meteor showers, special work events, etc. It is easy to use, reliable and works exactly as advertised. I have recommended this app to many of my friends. Obviously I like it. I hope you will too.

Good straightforward functionality for remembering birthdays.

Unfortunately no Facebook support on the iPhone. The workarounds didnt help. Please update

They dont say that the app dont synchronize with Facebook, only after you buy it and they dont answer your questions. I lost my money!

I bought the old one, was disappointed that they did not update that one. But for 99cents this is a handy app.

Happy there is finally an update for this app. NOT HAPPY that they decided to charge me for an update that should have been free. One star deducted for your greed.

Not happy that I had to pay for the update the old one is much nicer. I sent 3 email got no answer. feebex

Occasions+ is a simple program that does exactly what is supposed to do and does it well. Easy to use and it syncs seamlessly with the appropriate programs. I will give Hand Carved Code the benefit of the double by assuming the reason they needed to charge for this upgrade was to make it a universal application. I would expect future upgrades to be free. Hope some of the options available from the original APP will be added to the new version at some point.

Finally Occasions comes to the ipad. Love it on my iPhone, even better on my ipad.

First I bought Occasions then bought priorities app an cause they are done very well, I purchased Occasions + an was not disappointed at all . Thanks guys Great App !

I dont find much difference. But Im disappointed that one cannot turn the year of birth off like we could in the last version. Please fix this and you get 2 stars more.

Ive just installed Occasions+ and followed instructions to download my existing records in my first Occasions App into Occasions+ and it didnt work. A total waste of $0.99 and a wast of time. Dont buy until the developer fixes this deficiency.

The only improvement would be access to public occasion lists. Looking for a way to have this app stay updated on game release dates.

I love this ap. You can import Facebook and contacts birthdays and create your own custom birthdays, anniversarys etc.. It imports the contacts photos or you can change them to another photo. It tells you the birthdate and the age and you can also program it to list the zodiac signs and gemstones with each entry. Its professionally designed with a nice interface and user friendly. It runs smoothly.

[UPDATE] workaround provided. Great app. Definitely recommended. ........ Keep getting facebook sdk error when I try to link facebook. Please fix this.
