Occasions 3 - Reminders App Reviews

This has birthdays, anniversaries, even holidays. You can even add custom occasions. I like how it has the countdown and how old the person will be or how many years theyve been together if its an anniversary. The pictures are a nice bonus and I like how I can set up and change the alert times/days. Since I dont use Facebook the new update doesnt bother me, its still the perfect birthday reminder app.

FB integration made this app superior in features ... Please bring it back!!!!

Loose Facebook integration

Without Facebook integration, this app is nothing.

The original version of the app was one of my first app purchases from years ago. In this version you have to manually clear events which have already passed. So even though there are three options to alert on an event (two leading up and one on the day of), you are forced to open the app and clear an open alert for past events. This makes no sense to me. Forcing me to care and feed an app is not adding value to the experience (minus three stars). Please add an option to allow for auto clearing of past events. I will gladly update my review if that is offered. I doubt this will happen as the developers are non-existent.

I miss the days of this app being one I used everyday. It does nothing more than my calendar does. I miss; Facebook sync, contact photo sync, I could manually sync my Facebook friends to my contacts when their names were different (Bob vs Robert), I could post to Facebook, auto ignore past events. You named it the app did it. :(

Whyyyyy?!?!

I used to use this app exclusively for birthdays because it would let you add people manually, but now it will only use people in your Contacts. Its just as bad as all the others now. Useless.

I upgraded from the original that Ive used for years. Now I no longer have FaceBook integration. Step in the wrong direction. Boo

Its hard to find an app that allows you to add events from contacts were not in your contacts app and can integrate with your native calendar. I can add important dates such as memorials etc. which are not even listed in my contacts.

This app was great for its Facebook connectivity, but now that its gone (no fault of this developer), the app has much less use. It still does a decent job with birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, but quite frankly, and is well designed, but without Facebook integration, the app loses its mojo. Secondarily, while the app is nice, the developer never, ever, ever adds features, and if they do, its usually in the form of a new (paid for) version. Yes, they expect you to buy their software over and over again. I bought version one and then bought this version and all they really added was a cleaner, modern look with a new font. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Has Birthday Anniversaries Holidays Custom dates Works perfectly. Hope it allows me to send a message using whatsapp.

Its more work and a lot less useful without the sync with Facebook. Any chance youll restore it?

.....but addition of widget would be great!

Love the app, but something happened. I cant add new events. Please fix this.
